It gives a brief history of Japanese rope as wells as illustrating and talking about several classic Japanese ties, but is not a "how to" tie book

• The Seductive Art of Japanese Bondage by Midori - 2002 - 176 pages One of the better books on rope bondage. There are a few "how to tie" on a few classic forms, illustrations are line drawings, with a color photograph of a completed tie.
• Showing You The Ropes by Two Knotty Boys - 2006 - B&W 70 pages A book featuring a western decorative approach to tying someone up. A great book, inexpensive. Images are small and sometimes hard to understand what is being illustrated.
